Prince Harry could miss the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee Celebrations and London 2012

Prince Harry could miss the Queen's Diamond Jubilee Celebrations

There have been many stories breaking out over the web this week, suggesting that Prince Harry could miss both the Diamond Jubilee celebrations and the London 2012 Olympics.

With British troops committed in Libya and Afghanistan, a spokesperson for the Ministry of Defence said that ‘none of their [soldiers] applications for leave are set in stone anymore.’

The Prince, now qualified to fly Apache helicopters, could be deployed as early as April and is scheduled to go to Arizona for combat training in October.

You will remember that Harry, 26, fought in Afghanistan in late 2007 into early 2008 – the media, although aware, kept tight-lipped on the situation for Harry’s safely.

Should Harry go back to Afghanistan? I would be interested to hear your comments.
